Pope John Online is a new and exciting addition to our Blessed Pope John XXIII community. This new program allows users to access a suite of Web applications with similar functionality to traditional office suites, including: Gmail, Calendar, Video, Docs and Sites.
All email systems are now protected, scanned and managed by Postini. Postini provides cloud computing services for filtering e-mail spam and malware. It also allows students the freedom of email communication without the ability to contact or be contacted from outside our school network.
Gmail
Gmail is a free, search-based webmail service that combines the best features of traditional email with Google's search technology. Besides offering an entirely new way of reading and tracking messages, Gmail includes over 7 GB of storage space. (Learn about Gmail)

Docs
Docs is an easy-to-use online word processor, spreadsheet and presentation editor that enables you and your students to create, store and share instantly and securely, and collaborate online in real time. Sites
Sites is the easiest way to make information accessible to people who need quick, up-to-date access. People can work together on a Site to add file attachments and information from other Google applications (like Google Docs, Google Calendar and Video). Creating a site together is as easy as editing a document, and you always control who has access, whether it's just yourself, your team, or your whole organization.
