Thank you so much for participating in the TRIP program!
We have earned the school $11,777 (Aug. 1st – Dec. 31st). This program has been a blessing. Sign up now if you haven’t this is an easy way to give to the appeal, save money on your tuition while you buy groceries or other gift cards from Fry’s. Since the school hasn’t reached the Annual Appeal goal yet, we would like to achieve $15,000 by February to contribute to our Annual Appeal. We can do it! All we need is everyone to add $200 to your Fry’s Trip gift card before January 31st and please remind families/friends you have purchased Fry's gift cards for to do the same. If everyone adds $200 to their Fry’s Trip gift card by January 30th (you don’t even have to spend it before Jan. 30th), then we will receive a check for $15,000 from Fry’s in February!
As of January 4, 2010, all shoes must be white so that the uniform policy can be enforced with less subjectivity or confusion. 100% all white shoes are preferred, however if your child has a predominately white shoe with school color insignia which are blue, black, gray or silver, these will be acceptable so long as the insignia is not larger than the size of a quarter, or is featured as acceptable on our shoe pictures. Large bands of color are not allowable.
Students will be given one week grace period to get into shoe compliance without incident reports. After January 11th, incident reports will be given for uniform violations.
Reminders also include proper haircuts, belts, hair accessories, and skirt lengths. Please ensure your child's uniform is compliant with the policy as stated in the handbook.
P.E. Exception Students may choose to wear high quality supportive shoes during physical education and afterschool sports. Shoes for PE must be school colors but do not have to comply with criteria listed above. This will allow expensive sport shoes to last longer, and allow you to utilize your already purchased shoe. You child will need to change back into school required shoe after P.E..

The Catholic Tuition Organization of the Diocese of Phoenix (CTODP) is an Arizona tax credit program that allows you to direct a portion of your state tax dollars to support tuition for students at PJXXIII. You receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit when you direct your tax dollars to PJXXII through the CTODP program.
Every dollar you designate to PJXXIII through CTODP reduces your state income tax liability by one dollar with no out of pocket cost to you.
Thanks to your generosity, PJXXIII students received over $240,000 in financial aid from tuition tax credits through CTODP during the 2008-2009 school year. Without the help of CTODP, these students would not be able to receive the Catholic education they are looking for.
The deadline to participate is December 31, 2009 of the current tax year. Please designate Pope John XXIII on your CTODP donation forms (our school code is #201) to make sure your donation supports students at our school.
